Trailer Dump: A Look at Upcoming Movie’s & TV Shows

A lot of trailer’s have dropped in recent days, thanks in part to the San-Diego Comic-Con, which has released a lot of awesome stuff. So much awesome stuff you might not have been able to catch it all. We know how difficult it can be staying on top of all the new movies and TV shows coming out. You are bound to let a few trailers and announcements go by missed. We’re here to help you catch up with our trailer dump. A wide variety of all the new trailer’s, so check them out below and let us know what you think in the comments.

The Walking Dead Season 9

It’s no longer just about surviving zombies in this trailer for the latest series about The Walking Dead. Now they have to survive each other as they try and climb their way back to a civil way of living. The five minutes of footage gives you plenty to look at and guess about. Including what appears to be our first look at the Whisperers.

Young Justice: Outsiders

Star Wars The Clone Wars isn’t the only animated show being revived this year. So too returns the beloved DC’s Young Justice. We now have five minutes of footage to share with everyone. The trailer mainly recaps what happened in the last season and where we left off with our heroes before showing the state of the world they now live in. We can’t wait to see this, streaming on DC Universe.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Reach Monarch is the first sneak peek at the new Godzilla: King of the Monsters movie, starring Millie Bobby Brown of Stranger Things fame. Monarch is the company that ties the two franchises, Godzilla and King Kong, together. Godzilla will face off against Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah, undoubtedly King Kong will be teased at some point for the King Kong vs. Godzilla movie. You may notice that her bandages have a loose grip on existence.

Nightflyers

Nightflyers is the new TV show from the brilliant mind of George R.R. Martin, creator of Game of Thrones. This series is drastically different from what we’re used to with Martin, being it is the sci-fi genre and not fantasy. Nightflyers is brought to you by none other than SyFy and Netflix, who did a great job with Happy! Nightflyers however looks more like a mind-bending horror series akin to Event Horizon.

A Prayer Before Dawn

This fantastic trailer is about the true to life story of a British prisoner, Billy Moore, in Thailand who has to box his way out of the hellhole he found himself in. This looks like a star turn for the young talent Joe Cole (Peaky Blinders/Green Room/Black Mirror) who plays Moore. It looks brutal, gritty, gripping and true to life. A Prayer Before Dawn is based on the autobiography of the same name.

Doctor Who Season 11

The new Doctor Who trailer is finally here after the controversial casting of Jodie Whittaker, as the first ever female Doctor. “New faces, new worlds, new times.” Is the perfect way to describe any season of Doctor Who, and now we are on for a new adventure with Whittaker in the titular role.

Titans

If Young Justice wasn’t enough to sate your appetite of Teen Titans action, here is the first trailer for Titans. A surprisingly NSFW trailer. It has conflicting tones with that of being an overtly childlike superhero show, in terms of production and story, mixed with what seems to be an unnecessary amount of grit and angst. We have yet to see if any of it pays off. Robin however looks to be committing Batman’s cardinal sin, the no kill rule, and that is a no go for upholding character representation.

Overlord

This crazy stupid fun looking trailer for Overlord, is WW2 with zombies. Basically COD zombie mode, it was rumoured to be the new Cloverfield sequel for a long time. Many people believe that is now not the case, however only time will tell if they tie this into the franchise. Which is not outside the realm of possibility. Especially if they are using Die Glocke (There is a lot of bells ringing) which could show all kinds of crazy dimensions and futures.

Anyway, we hope you enjoyed these trailers, tell us which one was your favourite? What are you looking forward to most?
