Casual fans of the Star Wars series may believe that the first appearance of the fearsome bounty hunter Boba Fett came during The Empire Strikes Back, however hardcore fans including us at GeekVault will be aware that the first appearance of Boba Fett was in the infamous 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special animated short.

Let’s make one thing clear, he didn’t appear on the special as a live-action character (that was left to Chewbacca’s family), instead Boba appeared in a short animated film that appeared mid-special, featuring the bounty hunter wearing a slightly altered suit than what he would wear in the films. This POP! vinyl however features Boba Fett as he appears in the Holiday Special, complete with electropole and pale blue armour.
