In school, Eugene “Flash” Thompson unwittingly bullied the friendly neighbourhood Spider-man otherwise known as Peter Parker. A huge fan of Spider-Man himself and inspired by Spidey’s heroism, he joined the United States Army after leaving university. During his service he lost his legs in combat and affected by this loss, Flash Thompson enlisted in a secretive project named Rebirth. He was merged with captured symbiote and became the super-soldier… Agent Venom. Born from the bond between Venom and Flash Thompson.
Said to be one of the best representations of the symbiote. Flash Thompson is a complicated and sometimes dark character, whose ideals and heroism often clash with his anger and despair.
After many secretive operations with his friend and partner, Agent Venom was separated from the symbiote by the FBI. He would eventually meet his end heroically by fighting the Red Goblin. Although Agent Venom has yet to make an appearance in the MCU, there may be a cinematic future for the character as the MCU explores the Multi-verse.
