Who is Black Adam, we hear you say. Set to be portrayed by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the upcoming DC Black Adam film, this dude is not one you want to mess with. He is a supervillain, who first appeared in a  Fawcett Comics Marvel Family comic book in December 1945. He was however revived by DC comics in the 1970’s after they bought the rights to all of Fawcett Comics characters and he became a nemesis of Shazam! Originally depicted as an ancient Egyptian predecessor of Captain Marvel, corrupted by his power; he has since become more of an anti hero, trying to clear his name. When he says the magic word Shazam, he transforms into Mighty Adam (Black Adam) having the same powers as Shazam!
