Aggretsuko is a anime musical comedy staring Retsuko, an anthropomorphic red panda. Retsuko works in the accounting department of a Japanese trading firm. Faced with the constant frustrations of pushy bosses and annoying co-workers. Retsuko represents what every run-of-the-mill office worker experiences. However despite her cute appearance, something deep within her is filled with a fiery rage.

Aggretsuko had always dreamed of working in Accounting, especially in the part of Tokyo where her office is located. But she didn’t think it would be like this! At night Retsuko, the seemingly boring accountant, transforms into a death metal thrashing singer as she lets out her emotions through singing karaoke.
