WizKids Board Game: Chiyo’s Secret
The story so far of WizKids: Chiyo’s Secret…
You are a noble ally of the daimyo, with a secret agenda of your own. In this hidden role board game there are four teams: Loyal Allies, who seek to capture Chiyo and Fusanobu and send them to be executed for their crimes, Usurpers, who seek to lure Fusanobu and the Daimyo into a trap and seize power for themselves, Betrayers, who seeks to betray the Daimyo for their own nefarious ends, and the lone Motonaka who seeks to protect his parents, hiding them as they drift from place to place.
While Chiyo and Fusanobu hide among the patrons of local establishments, players will attempt to gather information and seek them out in order to successfully complete their objectives and win the game. They gain information by moving patrons between establishments and asking Motonaka various questions. Motonaka may lie about the whereabouts of his parents… once per game so choose wisely. The game ends when a player has met all of the conditions necessary for them to win the game.
Will the lovers meet a tragic end, or will they escape their pursuers and find freedom at last? The fate of this story is in your hands. Can you keep Chiyo’s Secret…
All of these characters are part of an interwoven plot that you have to unravel if you are hoping to win the game. There will be backstabbing, mistaken identity and intrigue as you seek to uncover one another’s agenda in an entertaining quest of cat and mouse.
